Nothing much today, they just fill up the gaps between the boards on the ceiling and have removed the protection sheet from the kitchen where the cabinet base will be. Kitchen cabinet base will be up tomorrow based on the schedule...

Renovation Day 4

Yeah, our false ceiling is up already as well as part of our wealth area! Kinda feel that the living room is now smaller but cozier...

Now there are gaps between the boards on the ceiling and we guess, the next step they will do is to fill up the gaps and then paint over, then everything will be nice nice liao.

Renovation Day 3

We thought the whole aircon piping thingy will end early and that we can go off after they start work but no, we have to sign some acceptance form for them after they finish their work. Our initial plan was to rush over to Kelantan Lane to take a look before they closed at 1pm but when we pick our car at the car park, we couldn't find our off-perk car coupons and so we couldn't drive thus unable to go to Kelantan Lane. Haha... was even in frustration and wondering where the hell the coupons are. (Edited to add: Guess what, we found them at home in the drawer only few days later)

In the end, we took a cab there and saw Gain City contractor unloading the pipes and casing. Kenneth reached slightly later than us and they started to discuss on how to run the pipe. Just want to say, without his help things wouldn't have been so smooth... The contractor seems to be very blur and inexperience and it seems like he is trying to make his job easier by doing short cuts. Well, what amaze us is that he even got difficultly differentiating left and right, perhaps haven wake up yet ?

We sign the acceptance form only around 3.30pm.
