Delivery of Hood, Hob n Oven

Waited at our new house for the delivery of hood, hob and oven from Goh Ah Bee. Anyway this is what we bought:
Hood - Fujioh FX900 ($350)
Hob - Fujioh FG772SVGH ($320)
Water Storage Heater - Joven JH25 ($240)
Oven - Brandt FC642XF1 ($1050)

Also took the chance to take photos of the lights installed without flash cos' previous photos are all taken at night with flash so can't really see the design =P

Shopping at Ikea

We are still waiting for our carpentry to be up, seems like work have stopped since the installation of lights =/

We went Ikea today to purchase a study table, sofa bed and display shelf all to be placed in our study room =)
Since the loots are too big and heavy to carry back on our own, we have no choice but to opt for delivery which cost us $55. Lucky the next delivery date is on Sunday so we dun need to take leave specially for this...

Water feature

Pass by Fukai at IMM and caught an eye on one of the water feature. SA was saying that it was on promotion selling at $498 because they are going to renovate the current location and they only have 2 pieces left, after which no more stock for the same design.

It's not our first time there and we did remember this kind of water feature should cost more than $500... we kinda like the design and was tempted to buy but still we walked away saying we will consider. Didn't want to make any impulse decision but who knows, within 5 minutes we walked back and bought it. Haha... didn't want to regret cos' we will have to get one before 22nd December and we thought it might not be easy to find one that we like.

Specially went over to Sim Siang Choon at Changi... It's our first time there and we really like the spacious mega store =)

Well, we know the problem with white but we really love to have it match with our table solid top... haha, Hopefully we are able to maintain the colour well =P

Not sure when Kenneth needs the speaker cable, but decided to collect it from Harvey Norman today since we got some time... after that we went to Isetan and chanced upon a nice jar for drinking water and cutleries which was on sale and decided to buy some first. The cutleries are all 18/10 stainless steel and should be made in Japan cos' the word Japan was encarved on it. hehe we love Japan products =)

Initially we wanted to buy WMF cutleries which is forever on sale, but decided not to because the cutleries is usually of bigger size, much heavier and it comes in a set which means that there will be some which you seldom use. We don't find it practical... further more, the price of buying the set or individually is around the same so we thought, why not just buy individually so that we can buy what we really need...
