Water feature

Pass by Fukai at IMM and caught an eye on one of the water feature. SA was saying that it was on promotion selling at $498 because they are going to renovate the current location and they only have 2 pieces left, after which no more stock for the same design.

It's not our first time there and we did remember this kind of water feature should cost more than $500... we kinda like the design and was tempted to buy but still we walked away saying we will consider. Didn't want to make any impulse decision but who knows, within 5 minutes we walked back and bought it. Haha... didn't want to regret cos' we will have to get one before 22nd December and we thought it might not be easy to find one that we like.

Renovation Day 11

Got water leakage at the new water pipes in the kitchen, told Kenneth to send somebody down to take a look tomorrow...

Finally saw the ventilation fan installed but it was in the wrong bathroom. Alamak! Immeditely sms-ed Kenneth and he said he might have hear wrongly that I want to install in the common bathroom, but he will change =X

Saw the water pipings up today... very ugly,  gonna ask Kenneth if the pipes are going to be left exposed like this or what... [Updated: Kenneth said it is illegal to conceal due to HDB's policy]

Renovation Day 9

Seems like they have completed all the tiling works and the next to do as scheduled will be installation of lightings which will be delayed because we just bought them yesterday and they will only be delivered on Saturday. 

Kenneth mention that he wants the lights to be up first before carpentry cos the carpenter might need to on the lights during installation. So this week might not have much progress...

Renovation Day 8

We went over in the morning and finally got to see the workers for the 1st time. There are 3 painters and they were busy painting our house, they look like Malaysian to us, was very polite and even great us when they saw us...

We love our Master bedroom colours, so sweet and pretty whilst for the other 2 rooms, kinda feel that the colour is too vibrant and appears to be too dark in our room... Must admit we were quite disappointed in the colours we have chosen, it look so different from the catalog, properly because of the lightings...
