Renovation Day 2

.

Wiring works have started and we already can visualise the design of our L-box and false ceiling on the ceiling.
Our ceiling fan point also shifted to the center of sofa area... so happy =)

Renovation Day 1

.

Yes, finally renovation has started!

We are so excited, so looking forward to the completion of our home and in the same time, enjoying the happiness of see-ing something new in our house.

We will drop by everyday to see what has been done and of course take photos of them as a remembrance. Though this will be tiring, but I guess is all worth it right? =P Well, How many of you can really see through every little process of the renovation? Some may not appreciate it but we do, after all this is our first house =)

Shopping

.

Specially went over to Sim Siang Choon at Changi... It's our first time there and we really like the spacious mega store =)

'Simplicity' is the key to our selection of items =P

Well, we know the problem with white but we really love to have it match with our table solid top... haha, Hopefully we are able to maintain the colour well =P

Don't you think this look like a urinal?

Wanted to get white but the new one is already dirty so we change to black.

We just want a simple mirror for our common bathroom...

There isn't much choice for non-mixer taps...

The handle is flat...

The handle is curve...

Shopping

.

Not sure when Kenneth needs the speaker cable, but decided to collect it from Harvey Norman today since we got some time... after that we went to Isetan and chanced upon a nice jar for drinking water and cutleries which was on sale and decided to buy some first. The cutleries are all 18/10 stainless steel and should be made in Japan cos' the word Japan was encarved on it. hehe we love Japan products =)

Initially we wanted to buy WMF cutleries which is forever on sale, but decided not to because the cutleries is usually of bigger size, much heavier and it comes in a set which means that there will be some which you seldom use. We don't find it practical... further more, the price of buying the set or individually is around the same so we thought, why not just buy individually so that we can buy what we really need...
